Tonight was IM night. We did about an even amount of all strokes, although I really wish we had done less butterfly as we did so much on Monday. We worked on the strokes as well as the drills.
I think going to swimming on Monday really did make me feel stronger, even though it felt like I didn't have a good night. Hopefully, I'll be ready for the Mini-Meet next week.
Here was our work out:
200 IM Kick
200 IM swim
4x50s Belly-Butt kick (Butterfly)
4x50s 6-3-6 on the back (Backstroke)
4x50s Tombstone kick (Breaststroke)
4x50 Catch up (Freestyle)
5x100 IM on the 1:30
4x200 IM on the 2:30
200 Warm down
Then we did a few practice starts for the mini-meet next Wednesday.
Unfortunately, there have only been about 5 of us coming to the 7:00 swim team, so Trish, the head coach and owner is eliminating it, and putting us back on the 6:00 swim team. This might mean that I have to end this activity early because it is a lot harder for me to get back to Falmouth around 6, rather than 7, because of the many activities I have everyday. We have to go back to 6:00 swim team starting Monday, so we will see if it works out.
