AMP-Coming up with the Name

When Carol first contacted me, there was no name for this event. We brainstormed several ideas, eventually concluding that an acronym would be best.

Our most prominent idea was PJAM:

Pizza

Judging

Authors 

Music

However, Carol talked to a few of the people at Eight Cousins and they thought it might be a bit silly. We then brainstormed some more, trying to find some way to incorporate our three ideas into a catchy logo. We wanted it to be short and sweet, something to attract teenagers.

There was a sudden flash of brilliance:

AMP!

This acronym is perfect. Not only does it incorporate our three ideas, it actually means something, and is the perfect leeway for some sort of artistic logo as well.

AMP stands for:

Authors

Music

Pizza

I really think that this logo will attract a  lot of teenagers and will express how much fun this event is going to be. The best part is, it was realtively easy to come up with, so it didn't take away any time from my school work.
